Those who undertake a PhD in social needs and community needs in education and learning in the same field is essentially a master’s degree in social and community services received. At this level, the program of the course covers the theory of community building, family matters and response, strategic planning, community, community leadership, people, culture and science education. At the doctoral level, there are courses in the program that runs more on research and focuses on the theories of his community. The study of social services is the development of programs in community services and organizations that aim to better care for individuals or groups. Targets individuals or groups are usually those who are poor and needy families in the communities.

Those who can earn a master’s degree in this field for a career as a community service program coordinator or administrator, consultant for community development, or even a director of social services. But for someone who has a PhD in this area, most end as a professor teaching in the same academic area. Some may choose to pursue a career in a decision that will be a benefit to the community and social services.
